- Don’t be afraid to ask for more work. Supervisors and employers love people who take the initiative.
- Make sure to build relationships and connections at your internships.
- Keep in touch with your supervisor after your internship ends to maintain a relationship for future letters of recommendation.
- Follow your gut- If the internship wasn’t all you thought it would be, it’s okay to explore different career plans and options. The internship wasn’t a waste of time, trust me.
